Steel Fern New Generation pressure cookers have all the modern safety features unlike the older styles
When pressure is above 4kPa the Pressure Safety Lock Valve (1) will be locked preventing the
lid from being opened accidentally. In the event of the primary over pressure valve failing
to operate, there is an over pressure seal release safety window (2) that allows the gasket to
release pressure.
Steel Fern pressure cookers are made from 18/10 stainless steel with 18/8 sandwhich base suitable to use on induction
cookers.

The following warranty statement shall apply to Steel Fern Pressure Cookers in the New Zealand market. This includes, as stated, Steel Fern’s responsibility to the customer regarding all other statutory and regulatory requirements.

Warranty statement
Where Steel Fern Pressure Cookers are purchased for use in domestic applications, in addition to any other right or remedy which the purchaser or end user may have under any relevant consumer protection legislation, Steel Fern undertakes to either repair or
replace (at its option) the Pressure Cooker, if it is discovered that such Pressure Cooker contains a material defect which arose in the course of manufacture.

The Steel Fern product warranty is applicable only on product purchased and used in the specifi c country where the original purchase was made.

Domestic Applications
A 5 year warranty is applicable on Steel Fern Pressure Cookers used in domestic applications, subject to the conditions set out on page 12.

Commercial Installations
A 6 month warranty is applicable on Steel Fern Pressure Cookers used in commercial applications, subject to the conditions set out on page 12.
